    Oncologist

    Job Description:

    • BE or BC, but BC is highly preferred based on the complexity of the practice
    • Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, and very few hospital rounds
    • Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call
    • Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
    • Practice is in a phase of rebuilding
    • Desired start date: ASAP
    • Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
    • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25
    • Facility's Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 2
    • State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984
    • On-site Radiation Oncology department
    • Robust Oncology supportive services
    • 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist

    Requirements:

    • Permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Salary range: $500,000-$750,000 annually, depending upon training and experience
