Oncologist
Job Description:
- BE or BC, but BC is highly preferred based on the complexity of the practice
- Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, and very few hospital rounds
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call
- Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
- Practice is in a phase of rebuilding
- Desired start date: ASAP
- Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-25
- Facility's Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 2
- State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984
- On-site Radiation Oncology department
- Robust Oncology supportive services
- 24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist
- On-site laboratory services

Requirements:
- Permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area
- Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment
- Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
- Not open to 1099 candidates
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $500,000-$750,000 annually, depending upon training and experience
