Cardiologist

Join our team as a Cardiologist, providing care in a dynamic environment with opportunities for both locum tenens and permanent positions.

Job Description

• Coverage needed as soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
• Weeknight call: 5pm-8am
• Weekend call: 24 hours
• Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, call
• Average number of clinic patients per day: 12-14
• 5-10 consults per day
• Not responsible for direct admissions; hospitalists will handle admissions
• Patient age demographic: Adult
• Level 1 trauma facility
• Number of cardiologists in group: 17

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible through ABMS
• Active MN license - preferred
• Local candidates - highly preferred
• ACLS certification
• DEA registration
• Procedures required: Echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), treadmill stress tests, chemical stress tests

Support Staff

• APPs will support rounding and will need supervision; also supervise stress tests and cardiac rehab as needed
