Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Job Title: Family Physician

Job Description:

• Coverage needed as soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Initial period of 3 months, with the possibility to extend
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Family physicians are expected to see up to 21 patients per day
  • Volume may be less depending on cancellations, but should be comfortable with a higher volume and fast pace
• Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics
  • Provider should be comfortable working with all ages
• Community Health Center experience or interest in working with vulnerable populations
  • Services provided to migrants and refugees with interpretative services available on site
• OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management
• May care for same-day walk-in patients
• Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures, injections, IUD placement, minor wound care

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm, 40 hours/week
• 8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Will consider providers for a minimum of 3 days/week if local and does not require housing

Requirements:

• Spanish or Russian speakers are a plus
• Board Certified in Family Practice
• Active WA License
• Active WA DEA
• Must have a clean background/malpractice record
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Must be COVID and flu vaccinated
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications

Support Staff:

• Dedicated medical assistant for each provider
• Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians
• Most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local healthcare administrator
