    Job Description:

    • Coverage needed starting January 1, 2025, ongoing
    • Scheduled clinic hours
    • Every Wednesday through Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm typically
    • Locums are not on call during non-business hours, covering scheduled assigned shifts only

    Clinical Details:

    • Inpatient: Acute psychiatric unit/institute
    • Admissions required
    • Rounding on both assigned and unassigned patients
    • Trauma level 1
    • PEDs level 3
    • Voalte (secure internal paging system) is used for communication
    • On Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU) the average patient volume can be 8 - 12 per day
    • Provider may be required to do direct admissions from the regional hospitals
    • Regional admissions are coordinated through in-house transfer center
    • Treats patients aged 5-17

    Requirements:

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
    • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) board-certification is required
    • Active MT License or IMLC
    • Fellowship
    • BLS
    • Required Skills: Anxiety disorders, Affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, Personality disorders, Psychotic disorders, Organic disorders, Seclusion therapy, Restraint application, Pharmacotherapy
