Job Description:
- Coverage needed starting January 1, 2025, ongoing
- Scheduled clinic hours
- Every Wednesday through Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm typically
- Locums are not on call during non-business hours, covering scheduled assigned shifts only
Clinical Details:
- Inpatient: Acute psychiatric unit/institute
- Admissions required
- Rounding on both assigned and unassigned patients
- Trauma level 1
- PEDs level 3
- Voalte (secure internal paging system) is used for communication
- On Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU) the average patient volume can be 8 - 12 per day
- Provider may be required to do direct admissions from the regional hospitals
- Regional admissions are coordinated through in-house transfer center
- Treats patients aged 5-17
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) board-certification is required
- Active MT License or IMLC
- Fellowship
- BLS
- Required Skills: Anxiety disorders, Affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, Personality disorders, Psychotic disorders, Organic disorders, Seclusion therapy, Restraint application, Pharmacotherapy
