    Schedule:

    • One week per month, 7a-7p, Monday to Friday (will also consider 8hr days if preferred)

    Clinical Details:

    • Onsite to perform minor procedures and image reads such as: diagnostic mammos, breast biopsy, barium enema, small bowel follow-through, upper GI, epidural steroid injection, abscess drainage, Medicare overreads
    • Average daily census 12.7; licensed for 25 inpatient beds which includes OB, have an additional 19 observation beds
    • Support 3 general surgeons; 2 orthopedic surgeons; 1 FP provider with OB and 3 OB/GYN providers with an average of 50-60 births per month
    • Level 4 trauma center
    • 2300 radiology exams each month
    • Read images between procedures
    • Procedures per day expected to perform: 5-10 (more if it is less invasive procedures like esophograms/barium enemas)
    • Volume for diagnostic mammo per day: 2-4
    • Providers on site would be provided a list of any overreads that would be needed. These are all types of studies - CT, MRI, x-rays, mammos, dexa scans

    Requirements:

    • Board Certified in Radiology
    • Active ND License or IMLC (with LOQ in hand)
    • ACLS, BLS, DEA, ATLS
    • Clean Malpractice/Background - Preferred
    • Local candidates - Preferred

    Required Procedures:

    • Breast localization for OR with magseed/magtrace - willing to learn: breast cyst aspirations, stereotactic breast biopsies
    • Arthrograms/Joint aspirations/Joint Injections
    • CT Cystograms
    • PICC Line placement
    • Lumbar punctures
    • Hysterosalpingograms
    • Bone Marrow Biopsy
    • Ultrasound biopsy of lymph nodes, muscle, kidney, thyroid, abscess drainage
    • ESI, SI injections, Facet injections - not all radiologists do all the injections, but as many of them as possible would be nice
