    Job Description:

    • Deliver comprehensive medical services in a remote and challenging environment.
    • Provide acute and emergency care, manage chronic conditions, support medical evacuations, and maintain medical records.
    • Offer medical oversight, direction, and leadership to the medical staff.
    • Lead quality development and clinical governance agendas.
    • Staff and operate the medical clinic, providing acute and emergency medical care.
    • Ensure 24/7/365 emergency response availability.
    • Manage and coordinate medical evacuations.
    • Provide mortuary affairs services as required.
    • Inspect and maintain the medical clinic and equipment.
    • Supervise medical staff and oversee care.
    • Provide teleradiology services and collaborate with other medical professionals.
    • Shoot and interpret basic X-rays.
    • Provide medical staffing, loading, and scheduling plans.
    • Develop Medical SOPs and policies for care services.

    Compliance:

    • Maintain and update patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and other federal regulations.
    • Ensure proper storage, inventory, and security of medications.
    • Submit required reports, including detailed monthly reports on medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and any medical incidents.

    Coordination and Logistics:

    • Work with ASRCC and International SOS Operations Management for timely resupply of medical and laboratory supplies.
    • Maintain and repair subcontractor-provided medical equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Required Skills and Knowledge:

    • Expertise in providing acute and emergency medical care in remote or austere environments.
    • Strong knowledge of medical evacuation procedures.
    • Proficiency in maintaining medical records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Competency in telemedicine and teleradiology services.
    • Ability to shoot and interpret basic X-rays.

    Experience Preferred:

    • Previous experience in military or remote medical settings.
    • Extensive ER experience.
    • Experience in coordinating and managing medical evacuations.
    • Familiarity with remote site medical logistics and supply management.

    Education Required:

    • Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, or US Territory.
    • Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
    • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
    • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
    • DEA license.

    Physical Demands:
