    Radiologist - Musculoskeletal Radiology

    Looking for a full-time provider Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and associated ambulatory care centers.

    Job Description

    • Candidates must be board certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK).
    • Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.
    • This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue biopsy.
    • Practice setting is hospital-based.
    • Average number of cases per day: Mix of plain film and cross-sectional imaging, including 110 X-rays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound.
    • Trauma level/designation: Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2.
    • Number of radiologists in practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE.
    • Teleradiology is not used for MSK.
    • Patient age demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required.
    • There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.
    • EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate.
    • Credentialing timeline: Usually 2-3 months (depends on if physician has IL license in hand or not).
