    Licensed Mental Health Clinician

    Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

    Job Description:

    • Serve as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary treatment team for JBCT patients in roles as clinician, treatment plan coordinator, case manager, and discharge planner
    • Perform and document treatment plans, treatment team review notes, discharge summaries, and progress notes
    • Provide individual and group therapeutic and psychoeducational services targeting competency restoration to JBCT patients
    • Coordinate with health and correctional staff regarding patients' mental health care
    • Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff
    • Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V-TR criteria and mental health practice standards

    Requirements:

    • Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a mental health clinician in Colorado
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
    • 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
    • Experience in a correctional or secure environment preferred, but not required
    • Experience working with the seriously mentally ill highly preferred
    • Valid CPR card
