    Speech Language Pathologist

    Job Description:

    • Provide quality speech pathology services through evaluation of patients.
    • Deliver prescribed treatment to restore function and prevent disability.
    • Work primarily on Saturdays and Sundays in acute care for evaluations and treatments (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
    • Support outpatient role on Mondays (8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. or until at least 5 p.m.) for pediatric and adult patient populations.
    • Potential to expand outpatient role to Mondays and Tuesdays or Mondays and Fridays as needs increase.
    • Outpatient treatment for adults includes cognitive, oncology, voice, and dysphagia.
    • Pediatric needs include developmental issues, post-NICU feeding, autism, dyslexia, and other related disorders.

    Requirements:

    • 2 years hospital experience preferred.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Certifications:

    • Required: SLP (Speech Language Pathologist)
    • Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

    Education:

    • Required: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
