    Job Description

    • Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography, and Angiography.
    • The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.
    • Comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control, and environment control.
    • Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff, and visitors.
    • Utilize appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance.
    • Train fellow technologists in their particular modality.
    • Demonstrate communication and problem resolution skills and serve as a professional role model.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
    • Maintains current American Registry of Radiology Technologist certification.
    • State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
    • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
