Facility Overview:

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center is a 164-bed hospital providing acute care services to the San Luis Obispo community since 1959. It offers high-risk pregnancy care, neonatal intensive care, the da Vinci Surgical Robot program, neurosurgery, pediatric care, and trauma care. The Birth Center has delivered more than 40,000 babies in the past 50 years, with private labor and delivery rooms as well as private recovery rooms. The hospital specializes in maternal, fetal, and obstetrical complications and is home to a level III NICU. It has received Baby-Friendly Hospital accreditation by Baby-Friendly USA.
