Paramedic - Emergency Department
Join our team as a Paramedic in the Emergency Department, where you will perform advanced patient care within the state-approved scope of practice in an emergency setting.
Job Description
- Receive emergency medical telephone calls and provide emergency care to injured or ill patients.
- Perform care to ED patients as identified in the Paramedic Scope of Practice policy.
Requirements
- Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred.
- 2 years of ED patient care experience, including triage experience preferred.
- National EMT License preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions is required.
- 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred.
- BLS certification required at the time of hire.
