Gastroenterologist

Join our team as a Gastroenterologist, providing care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and the ability to manage a diverse patient population.

Job Description

• Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
• Hospital rounds and consults to be completed daily on assigned weeks, averaging 5-10 inpatient consults per day while on-call
• Procedures required include EGDs, colonoscopies, EGD with dilatations, PEG placement and change, and all standard GI procedures
• Prefer an advanced provider to perform ERCP
• Patients per day: approximately 10-14 inpatients per day with a PA to assist Monday through Friday
• Rounds, emergencies, outpatient procedures (if needed), and floor consults (6-10 per day)
• May be called into the hospital 1-3 times per week

Requirements

• Current active PA license
• All general GI procedures
• Must be board certified/board eligible within 5 years of residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology
• Must be fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
