Radiation Oncologist
Seeking a radiation oncologist for February 20-21! The provider will cover daily radiation oncologist responsibilities, including some consultations for those in need, approval of treatment plans, oversight of radiation treatments, and weekly patient visit requirements in the department. They may have to see a patient in the hospital for consultation.
Malpractice must be included in rates. Orientation is paid at half the hourly/callback rate and kicks in after 8 hours.
Job Description
- Cover daily radiation oncologist responsibilities
- Conduct consultations for patients in need
- Approve treatment plans and oversee radiation treatments
- Complete weekly patient visits
- Be available for hospital consultations as needed
Schedule/Availability Requirements
- February 20-21 only at this time
- Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM and night call 5 PM - 8 AM
- 24-hour call on Saturday-Sunday
- Typically, 9 hours during the day (8 AM - 5 PM) and 15 hours (on call) for the evening call (5 PM - 8 AM), including weekends
Requirements
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required)
- Active Arkansas license (required)
- Residency/Fellowship (required)
- Active DEA (required)
- Clean malpractice/background (highly preferred)
- Must be available for the dates listed in the job description
- Disclose if the provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility
- COVID vaccinated (required)

Average 38-50 patients under treatment daily. The locum would see all of the patients one time per week but be available while the patients are being treated.
