Job Description:

• Start: 10/7/24
• Duration: 3 Months
• Candidates will rotate between the main campus and the brand new, fully equipped, Freestanding ER
• Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible EM or Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with 2+ years of EM experience
• 25,000 annual patient visits
• 24-hours physician coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• 18-hours APP coverage
• Level III Trauma Center
• Accredited chest pain center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
• State-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services
• Specialty rooms for gynecology, ear-nose-throat, cardiac, and trauma patients
• Pediatric acute care services, including specialized Asthma P.A.C.T. program
• Nurses are CEN-certified
• Qualified candidates must be BCEM or BCFM, BCIM with recent ED experience; ABPS EM boards welcome

Freestanding ED:

• 10,000 Annual Volume estimated year one
• 24-hours of Physician Coverage
• 10,000 square feet
• 11 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma Bay
• Separate adult and pediatric waiting area
• All private treatment rooms
• State-of-the-art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
• Ambulance bay for EMS access
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
