Join our team as an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a full-time outpatient practice setting in Northeastern Ohio. This position offers a negotiable schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.
Job Description
- Seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology NP or PA
- Full-time negotiable schedule
- On call 10 days per month
- Outpatient practice setting
- 50% adult population of patients, 50% geriatric population of patients
- 25% Hematology, 75% Oncology
- 2 Physicians in practice
- 15-20 patients per day (outpatient)
- 3-5 patients per day (hospital)
- EMR - EPIC
- 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hem/Onc-specific clinic/hospital setting (not including RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience) is required
- Board Certified NP/PA - required
- OH license (or willing to obtain) - required
- BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain) - required
- Procedures: Management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural/Peritoneal - required
- Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes - required
- Telemedicine is not an option; this is an in-person position
- Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
- Not accepting locums candidates
Requirements
- 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hem/Onc-specific clinic/hospital setting (not including RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience)
- Board Certified NP/PA
- OH license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)
