Join our team as an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a full-time outpatient practice setting in Northeastern Ohio. This position offers a negotiable schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology NP or PA
• Full-time negotiable schedule
• On call 10 days per month
• Outpatient practice setting
• 50% adult population of patients, 50% geriatric population of patients
• 25% Hematology, 75% Oncology
• 2 Physicians in practice
• 15-20 patients per day (outpatient)
• 3-5 patients per day (hospital)
• EMR - EPIC
• 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hem/Onc-specific clinic/hospital setting (not including RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience) is required
• Board Certified NP/PA - required
• OH license (or willing to obtain) - required
• BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain) - required
• Procedures: Management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural/Peritoneal - required
• Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes - required
• Telemedicine is not an option; this is an in-person position
• Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
• Not accepting locums candidates

Requirements

• 1+ year clinical experience as NP/PA in Hem/Onc-specific clinic/hospital setting (not including RN, training, or general practice/IM/FM experience)
• Board Certified NP/PA
• OH license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)
