Join our team for an exciting opportunity as a NP/PA Hospitalist in Peoria, Illinois. This position offers a chance to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a supportive environment.

Job Description

• ASAP - Ongoing need for inpatient hospital admitting
• Coverage needed Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
• Bread and butter hospital medicine APP experience required
• No procedures required, no codes or RRTs; includes rounding and admitting
• Number of beds: 329
• EMR: Epic
• Patient population: >18 years; Medicare and private payors
• Average number of cases per day: Approximately 8 patients
• Support staff includes full MD/DO support, RN, and techs
• Department consists of 27 physicians and 7 APPs
• IL licensed PA is required; however, an exception may be made for an APRN (must have acute care certification and direct patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last year)
• IL CSR/DEA required
• PA-C highly preferred; NP-APRN welcome
• BLS required

• IL licensed PA or APRN with acute care certification and recent hospital experience
• IL CSR/DEA required
• BLS certification required
