NP/PA Geriatric Psychiatry

Location: Holyoke, Massachusetts

Job Description:

• ASAP - Ongoing Need
• Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm
• Experience preferred (greater than 2 years)
• Carry a caseload of up to 16 geriatric psychiatry patients on the inpatient unit
• Expect around 2 admissions and 2 discharges per day, no ER crisis evals
• Responsible for completing admissions, discharges, and daily notes on their caseload
• Participate in family meetings or agency meetings as necessary
• Full-time, onsite position
• No call and no weekend coverage
• Not attending to detox patients
• Site willing to offer a mix of geriatric and adults if preferred
• DEA and PMHNP certification required
• 14-16 Patients Per Shift
• 24 Beds in department
• Facility will accept multiple providers
• Admissions Required
• EMR: Cerner
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
• Active MA License - Required
• Fellowship Required
• BLS Required
