Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Complete patient charts prior to procedures and pull previous echocardiograms for review by interpreting physician
- Explain diagnostic procedures and answer patient questions
- Measure and record dimensions of heart structures according to procedures
- Assist physician during transesophageal and stress echo procedures
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologic technology, sonography, or related fields
- Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, RCVT, RVT, or equivalent certification, or registry eligible (must obtain registry status within 2 years of hire). CPR certification
- Experience: At least two years of education or training in relevant fields
