Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - GI Team

Job Description:

• Work within a collaborative clinical team supported by strong leadership.
• Gain valuable experience across a range of GI subspecialties.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document thorough medical histories from patients.
• Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Counsel patients and family members on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Schedule:

• 8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America)
• Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
• No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

Salary Range:

• $21.75 - $29.50
• Sign on BONUS available for eligible applicants.
