Job Description
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
- Document a thorough medical history from patients
- Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
- Counsel patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required

Community Overview
Come join our team in the Sheldon Clinic! Monthly nursing continuing education is available within the clinic. Our Sheldon clinic is open 8am-8pm. For part-time positions, it is typically a rotating schedule of 2 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next. Work roughly every 8th Saturday morning from 8-12. The clinic is closed for national holidays. Take part in caring for patients throughout their lifespan, build long-term relationships with patients and staff, help perform testing, administer vaccines and medication, and facilitate care for patients. Function as part of an interdisciplinary team: MD, PA, NP, RN, LPN, CMA, mental health therapists, care managers, etc.
