Job Description
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
- Document a thorough medical history from patients
- Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
- Counsel patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required

Community Overview
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in a psychiatric practice. This position will be a primary nurse for our psychiatric nurse practitioner. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner sees pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. The practice is part of a family medicine clinic with other nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and mental health therapists. Our unique blend of providers allows for patients to receive holistic care in one location.
