    Job Description:

    • Assist and direct additional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responders at the scene and during transport.

    • Administer additional care as indicated or directed by medical personnel during transport.
    • Utilize medical equipment and document patient condition and treatment accurately.
    • Demonstrate effective communication with receiving facilities and maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Assist with patient care in receiving facilities and provide educational support for students.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Paramedic Technology preferred.
    • Thorough knowledge of paramedic principles, practices, and equipment.
    • Hold national registry status at a Paramedic level and state licensure as required.
    • Current certifications in BLS, PHTLS, ITLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on location.
    • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
