    Family Wellness Therapist

    Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

    Job Description:

    • Utilize family preservation techniques and trauma-informed treatments (TF-CBT and TST) to work together with families when a child safety concern has been identified.
    • Support caregivers in creating an environment that promotes safety and stability for children (0-18 years of age).
    • Engage primary caregivers in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress and connecting them with services and supports.
    • Collaborate with families and allow them to take the lead in setting treatment goals.
    • Keep or reunite children with their families by supporting families in meeting their treatment goals.

    Requirements:

    • Master's in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
    • DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC, NLC.

    Qualifications:

    • Be flexible and self-motivated.
    • Have a passion for engaging caregivers facing challenging and complex issues impacting children's well-being.
    • Be comfortable with community-based therapy.
    • Be comfortable working a non-traditional work schedule.
