    Oncology Nurse Practitioner

    Join our team as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner in Astoria, OR, located 90 miles from Portland. This full-time, permanent position offers H1B sponsorship and loan assistance.

    Job Description

    • Provide outpatient services with a clinic schedule of 36 hours of patient care over four ten-hour clinic days.
    • Conduct inpatient rounding on medical oncology patients, with responsibilities shared among the Medical Oncology providers; inpatient responsibilities should not exceed five percent of patient care hours.
    • Participate in a call schedule of up to ten days of call per month.
    • Responsible for clinical coordination of Palliative Care and the Survivorship Program.
    • Administrative duties may be assigned based on department needs and your areas of expertise and interest, with four hours of administrative time allotted each week.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Nursing
    • Ability to obtain Oregon RN license
    • AANP Board Certification
    • Minimum of two years of experience in medical oncology preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals
    • Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit
