Lead Occupational Therapist - Early Intervention

We're looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist to help us build something big—a team that delivers exceptional early intervention services to help kids and their families succeed. You'll be working with families, guiding a talented team, and shaping how we deliver innovative, results-driven therapy to the kids who need it most.

Job Description

• Lead with vision: Oversee a team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and early childhood educators to ensure every family gets world-class care. You'll set the tone, mentor your team, and bring out the best in everyone.
• Hands-on impact: Provide direct therapy to help kids (birth to age 5) and support their families. This is where the magic happens—helping kids and their families thrive.
• Raise the bar: Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies and practices. We want the best outcomes, so we need the best approaches. Think outside the box to really identify how you can modify a family or school's currently existing routines to meet your goals.
• Collaborate like a pro: Work with other specialists, families, and caregivers to create a seamless and holistic approach to care. You know how to connect, motivate, and inspire—whether it's with your team, a family, or a toddler trying to conquer fine motor skills.
• Empower families: Teach parents and caregivers how to support their child's progress at home. You'll be their guide and their biggest cheerleader.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with a license to practice.
• Practicing for at least 5 years and been working within early intervention or pediatric settings for at least 3 of those 5 years.
• A deep understanding of early childhood development, especially appropriate developmental milestones—and just as importantly, what's not appropriate.
• A passion for early intervention and understanding the critical role communication plays in a child's development as evidenced by at least three years working with children ages 0-5.

Physical Demands

Employee should be able to transfer children, transport children, and perform treatment on the floor or a mat. Employees should be knowledgeable in exercise, proper handling of infants, and good body mechanics during patient treatment.
