Family Medicine Physician

Job Description

• Average patients seen: 8-12 patients per day
• Call schedule: 1:5
• Currently 3-4 Family Medicine physicians (15-20 physicians in the entire physician group, including subspecialties and primary care)
• No OB, no Emergency Medicine
• 25-30 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) covering various specialties
• Hospitalists tend to inpatient care, though Family Medicine can pick up shifts if desired
• Walk-ins available all day
• APPs dedicated to the Acute Care clinic from 10 am to 7 pm
• Physicians can pick up acute care on the weekends
• Great variety available in patient age ranges and in pathology
