Mental Health Clinician

Join Norton Sound Health Corporation as a Mental Health Clinician. This full-time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with after-hours and weekend call responsibilities.

Job Description

• Provide clinical mental health and/or substance abuse assessments and write treatment plans under the supervision of a Clinician II.
• Assess the client's condition and needs, set outcomes, and implement appropriate actions to meet the client/family's physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual, and safety needs, and evaluate client's progress.
• Provide and document comprehensive and individual assessments identifying client needs with appropriate interventions to achieve desired outcomes and gather data to demonstrate the utilization of the clinical process to promote positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work or related counseling field.
• 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting in the behavioral health field.
• Must be eligible for LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent state license in Alaska within two years of hire.
