Radiologic Technologist
Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will play a vital role in assisting with the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. This full-time position requires a split shift from Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 9 PM, and Friday from 11 AM to 7:30 PM.
Job Description
- Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and supervision of the manager or supervisor.
- Produce quality images with the lowest possible radiation exposure to the patient.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with infection prevention procedures.
- Work effectively with patients and families to provide patient care.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
- Participate in student education and orientation of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio and maintain ARRT and ODH licensure.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Allied Health.
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
- State License for Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience in Fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR, ERCPs, Trauma, Digital Radiography, Portable X-ray equipment, and Radiation Safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comfort and care for patients, families, and staff before, during, and after procedures.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently produce and evaluate diagnostic radiographs for radiological interpretation.
- Exhibit organizational and communication skills to promote departmental well-being.
- Select proper imaging protocols and follow departmental procedures.
