    Radiologic Technologist

    Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will perform radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. This full-time position offers a day shift with 3x 12-hour shifts, a weekend rotation every third weekend, and no call requirements.

    Job Description

    • Perform quality radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with department policies and procedures.
    • Work effectively with patients and families to provide patient care.
    • Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
    • Comply with infection prevention procedures and maintain accurate records.
    • Ensure radiation safety and care of equipment.
    • Participate in student education and orientation of new employees.
    • Admit and discharge patients, take vital signs and patient history at some locations.
    • Administer health screens, perform venipuncture, and administer injections under MD supervision at some locations.
    • Actively participate in customer service areas and communicate with clients and patients to resolve concerns and requests.
    • Accept responsibilities of other staff, including supervisor, in their absence or as required.

    Requirements

    • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health.
    • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
    • Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Radiologic Technologist, GXMO or ARRT and State License, or Doctor of Chiropractic license.
    • Knowledge of radiography equipment, radiation safety practices, minor industrial injury care, light duty, and BWC processes.
    • Up to 1 year experience in a clinical allied health medical/physician office setting.
