Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Provides appropriate patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff.

Job Description

• Circulate, scrub, and record diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services.
• Operate appropriate medical equipment and software.
• Interact professionally with customers and staff.

Requirements

• AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program or AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• If the candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• If the candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is the preferred registration.
