Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse
Registered Nurse will possess knowledge and skills to provide patient-centric care in a physician's office setting. Will provide clinical nursing assessment, act as patient care advocate, provide support, counseling, and education to patients. Will be responsible for patient case management and/or perform specialized procedures. Will work in collaboration with other health care providers and ancillary services. Will direct clinical staff and maintain mandatory regulatory institutional policy and procedures under the direction of the Manager/Medical Director. May be required to float to other UFHP practices, as needed, for staffing.
Licensed Practical Nurse will focus on providing high level patient-centered care in a physician office setting by measuring and recording vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, preparing patients for exams/procedures, assisting the health care provider with exams/procedures, providing patient support during exams, maintaining medical supply inventory, and stocking exam rooms. The LPN will also provide patient care by administering medications, processing patient phone calls per practice protocols, instructing patients regarding health care and treatments, and providing health care provider with information pertaining to patients' health status. May be required to float to other UFHP practices, as needed, for staffing.

Requirements

RN Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- Proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and be a team player is essential
- Basic Life Support certification required or must be obtained within the first month of employment

LPN Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school or training program for Licensed Practical Nursing
- One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred
- Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, team focus, and problem-solving skills are required
- Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (CPR) is required or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment
