RN Staff Development Coordinator
Join our dynamic team as an RN Staff Development Coordinator at UHS Senior Living. This position is essential in planning, organizing, leading, directing, and evaluating clinical programs that enhance professional development and ensure regulatory compliance.
Job Description
- Plan and implement clinical programs that include professional development, quality, practice, regulatory compliance, and research.
- Ensure that required education and ongoing skill development is accessible for all clinical areas and meets the learning objectives for adult learners with demonstrated knowledge retention.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field
- At least five (5) years of progressive, responsible relevant clinical, educational, and leadership/management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or related field
- Previous experience in Nursing Staff Development
License/Certification
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- CPR within three (3) months of hire
Preferred Certifications
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development
- Instructor of courses offered by Training and Development
