Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Ideal
Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist in an outpatient setting. This position ensures that speech-language pathology services are administered in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner.
Job Description
- Provide speech-language pathology patient evaluations and treatment for hospital-based inpatient and/or outpatient services, as well as associated clinical documentation.
- Maintain specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality processes, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care.
Requirements
- Minimum Required:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship year candidate
- Preferred:
- Previous clinical experience
- Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
License/Certification
- Minimum Required:
- NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment
- Preferred:
- Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
