Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Ideal

Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist in an outpatient setting. This position ensures that speech-language pathology services are administered in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner.

Job Description

• Provide speech-language pathology patient evaluations and treatment for hospital-based inpatient and/or outpatient services, as well as associated clinical documentation.
• Maintain specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality processes, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care.

Requirements

• Minimum Required:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship year candidate
• Preferred:
  • Previous clinical experience
  • Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders

License/Certification

• Minimum Required:
  • NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment
• Preferred:
  • Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
