    Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse

    Join our team as a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse at UHS Home Care TTHH. This position offers a day shift with a commitment of 40 hours per week, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in patient-centered care.

    Job Description

    • Responsible and accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services, and Home Care policies and philosophy.
    • Promote a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Required:
      • Bachelor degree in Nursing
      • 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
      • Completion of an accredited WOCN program for WOC Nursing (WOCNEP) within 1 year
    • Preferred:
      • Previous completion of a WOCNEP program
      • Previous experience as a WOCN
      • 6 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting

    License/Certification

    • Minimum Required:
      • Current New York State Registered Nurse License
      • Certification through the WOCN Certification Board (WOCNCB) within 1 year
    • Preferred:
      • Current certification as a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (CWOCN) through WOCNCB

    Benefits

    • Salary range: $33.57 - $51.39 per hour, depending on experience.
