Home Care Registered Nurse Residency Program

Join UnityPoint at Home in the Sioux City, IA region for our Home Care Registered Nurse Residency Program. This program is designed for new graduate RNs or nurses with less than 12 months of experience, providing a supportive environment to launch your nursing career.

Job Description

• Work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Participate in a residency program that offers on-the-job training and individualized preceptor experiences
• Provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, fostering long-term relationships
• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans as you gain experience and autonomy
• Attend classes focused on critical thinking, assessment, leadership, and clinical decision-making
• Complete a residency project and portfolio during the program

Requirements

• Graduate of a State Board approved program for Registered Nurses
• Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with re-certification
• Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements
