Job Description

• Evaluates and treats speech therapy patients under physician orders in the acute, outpatient, home health care, or skilled nursing facilities as assigned
• Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to the caseload
• Maintains appropriate documentation in the patient's medical record
• Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the speech therapy department
• Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient, and family
• Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patient's healthcare team

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Certified Clinical Competency Certification or completing Clinical Fellowship year
• Licensure: Speech Pathology licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa, Valid Iowa driver's license
• Experience: Entry level/new graduate acceptable
• Certification/Course: Maintain Basic Life Support certification
