Gynecologist
Location: Kane, Pennsylvania
UPMC Kane is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gynecologist to join our team as the sole GYN physician at our facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients in a rural community, offering a full spectrum of gynecological services. Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive gynecological care, including preventive services, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of women's health issues.
- Perform routine exams, including pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other necessary screenings.
- Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, menopause, infections, and other reproductive health concerns.
- Perform gynecological surgeries as needed, including minimally invasive procedures.
- Perform in-office procedures.
- Provide patient education on topics such as contraception, sexual health, menopause management, and reproductive health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with UPMC Kane's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote women's health.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and ethical standards in all aspects of care.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Must have an MD or equivalent; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gynecology.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in the field of GYN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA medical license.
