Hospice and Palliative Medicine Faculty Attending Physician

Location: Altoona, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

• Join a team as a faculty attending physician at the UPMC Altoona Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
• Provide consultation and management services in inpatient settings, outpatient palliative clinics, and local nursing homes.
• Collaborate with a team of 4 physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, a fellow, a licensed social worker, a pharmacist, and a medical assistant/secretary.
• Oversight provided by dedicated program director and coordinator.
• Engage in hands-on training across a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels.

Requirements:

• ABFM or AOBFP certified in family or internal medicine with board eligibility or certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Experience in academic medicine preferred.
