The Nursing Director, Long-Term Care, at WAR Memorial Hospital (WarMH) assists with the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit. The Nursing Director establishes objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.

Job Description

• Assist with the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit.
• Establish objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelors Nursing (BSN) required
• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Five (5) or more years management experience
• Five (5) or more years nursing home/long-term care setting
• Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia required
• Basic CPR-certified and up-to-date annually required
• Available on an on-call basis
