    CT Technologist

    Join our team as a CT Technologist, where you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures utilizing advanced imaging technology. This role integrates scientific knowledge, technical skills, patient interaction, and compassionate care to provide diagnostic information.

    Job Description

    • Perform CT procedures utilizing CT scanners and power injectors to produce cross-sectional and 3D images.
    • Assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures and perform complex imaging reformatting.
    • Recognize patient conditions, assess and monitor vital signs, and take appropriate actions in emergency situations.
    • Prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state law as well as institutional policy.
    • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique while ensuring patient safety.
    • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper identification is recorded.
    • Provide patient education related to imaging procedures and participate in ongoing quality assurance activities.

    Requirements

    • Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and ARRT-CT.
    • Current Certification by ARRT or NMTCB and ARRT-CT.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
    • One to three years of previous CT Technologist work experience.
    • Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT or NMTCB.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous work experience in an academic medical center environment.
    • Three or more years of CT experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field from an accredited program.

    Schedule

    • Part-time position with expected hours of 20 - 24 per week.
    • Evening shift and weekends only.

    Supplemental Pay

    • Signing bonus available.

    Relocation Requirements

    • Must relocate to Quinton, VA 23141 before starting work.
