VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Sedalia, MO! This position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Provide clinic and labor & delivery support to ensure consistent high-quality care.
• Expand access to care for women in the community by providing 24/7 quality-driven, safe, and effective care.
• OB/GYNs to provide GYN coverage.
• OB/GYNs needed for first assist.
• Backup available to the MHAS physicians; general surgeons available.
• 2 to 3 providers in clinic daily.

• OB/GYNs required to perform circumcisions: No
• Total hospital deliveries (monthly average): 38
• Total hospital deliveries (annual average): 456
• Total hospital/clinic GYN surgery volume (monthly average): 55
• Total hospital/clinic GYN surgery volume (annual average): 661
• Nursery level: 2
• Anesthesia: On-call 24/7
• MFM: Ability to consult MFM, but no telemedicine service
• Fetal monitoring system: GE
• EMR used in hospital: Meditech
• EMR used in clinic: Meditech Web Ambulatory
• Current OR days for clinicians: Monday AM, Wednesday AM, Friday
