    Location: Fort Walton/Destin, FL

    Job Description:

    • Normal schedule is 9 hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Mon - Fri with a one-hour lunch
    • On-Call: Up to 2 weeks per month
    • Call-Back required, minimal

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF
    • Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals
    • Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges
    • Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling
    • Order diagnostic tests as applicable and request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources
    • Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members
    • Subject to technical direction and/or guidance of the designated Government official
    • Administrative supervision by the Chief of Obstetrics or designee
    • Monitored by the 96th Medical Group's Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
    • Participate in the monthly peer review process of clinical skills

    Qualifications:

    • Degree/Education: MD or DO; internship/residency in Obstetrics-Gynecology
    • Experience: Minimum 36 months within the last 48 months
    • Licensure: Active/clear license to practice as a physician from Florida
    • DEA: Current and active DEA certification
    • Clinical Board Certification: Board-Certified as an OB/GYN Physician by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Life Support Certifications: BLS/ACLS and NRP
    • Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
