**Medical Director of Psychiatry**

Southern California Health & Rehabilitation Programs (SCHARP) and Barbour & Floyd Medical Associates (BAFMA) invite applications for the position of Medical Director of Psychiatry. **Job Description**

- Lead clinical and administrative functions across SCHARP and BAFMA.
- Provide direct psychiatric care at least one day per week.
- Report to the CEO to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Lead and oversee the psychiatry providers as well as provide guidance to non-medical staff.
- Implement operational procedures and develop medical policies in collaboration with the executive team.
- Address barriers to care and improve appointment adherence.
- Manage budgets, productivity metrics, and staff performance.
- Provide education and training to enhance client care and provider communication.

**Requirements**

- Board-certified psychiatrist with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership and administrative skills.
- Experience in high-acuity and community mental health settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Additional board certifications are preferred, including child and adolescent psychiatry, internal medicine, family medicine, addiction medicine, and forensic medicine.

**Benefits**

- Compensation range: $450,000.00 - $550,000.00 annually.
