Join our team as a Nocturnist in Suffolk, VA, providing supplementary coverage in an inpatient setting. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to work with adult patients during the night shift.

**Job Description**

- Provide clinical coverage from January 2, 2025, and ongoing
- Work shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM
- Manage a patient volume of 88+ admissions, with 8-10 admissions per shift and 7-10 admissions overnight in addition to floor calls
- Handle floor calls for 7 units (2s, 3n, 4s, 4n, 5s, CVT Stepdown, and CVT ICU)
- No rounding required; however, the provider will be responsible for floor calls
- Closed medical ICU with a 24-hour Intensivist responsible for admissions

**Requirements**

- Active VA License
- Board Certified (BC)
- DEA certification
- ACLS and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Local candidates are highly preferred
- Clean record
