Assists with patient admission and transfer activities, discharges, deaths, and autopsies. Keeps appropriate leadership informed of current departmental activities and problems through both oral and written communication. Assists in resolving medical staff problems/concerns. Completes patient rounds daily ensuring that team members are meeting the patient/family needs. Follow-up from rounds includes coaching and/or recognition of team members.
