- Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized
- Provide pre and post-operation patient education. Monitor patients post-procedure
- Incorporate nursing theory to deliver care
- Give injections and apply splints and dressings
- Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and procedures
- Perform selected nursing and administrative duties
- Remove sutures. Provide minor wound care
- Maintain the patient file, records, and other information
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Maintain strictest confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

- Graduate of accredited nursing school
- Current Oregon LPN license
- Healthcare provider level BLS/CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
- 1+ years of professional nursing experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience with surgical procedures
- Experience with an electronic medical record system

**Compensation and Benefits**

The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
