We have opportunities for short-term 13-week assignments and permanent placements available. This Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool - Clinical Inpatient position will support the Centralized Staffing Float Pool at various hospitals, including locations in CT - Sharon and Rhinebeck, NY.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool provides direct patient care that is guided by the American Nurses Association (ANA) scope of practice. A Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses the patient's needs, care plans, implements, and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards. They demonstrate leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth.

**Job Description**

- Support the Centralized Staffing Float Pool at various hospitals
- Provide direct patient care guided by ANA scope of practice
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and evaluate nursing regimens

**Requirements**

- 2.5 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Level Degree (required) or bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Current and unobstructed Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals) 
- Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse License (NY Hospitals)
